Ronnie Earls Marcus

Ronnie Earls Marcus passed away on May 8th, 2026 from a long illness. Ronnie was born August 26, 1948 to Robert & Corine Marcus. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Barbara Hoge (Chuck), and Janice Deason. Ronnie also recently lost his much beloved son Ronald Turner Marcus, which he deeply mourned since his passing. We can now rejoice that they will soon be reunited again in heaven and will be together, forevermore in God’s Kingdom.

Ronnie is survived by his loving daughter April Ann, and grandsons Cole and Rowen which were the love of his life, as well as his brother Robert Ray Marcus (Juanita), sisters, Linda L. Mires (Rufus) and Sally K. Shroad (Philip) and many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was a Master Plumber all his life, to which he was his father’s plumbing helper since he was very young. His best friends were Dave Church and Tony Guillen. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association in Ronnie's memory.

A graveside service will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 4444 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906 at 2:00 pm on Thursday May 21st, with Reverend Jeff Nunham officiating.
