Rosa Calderon of Lansing went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 23, 2016 at the age of 91, joining her husband, Simon Calderon. Rosa was born in Crystal City, Texas as one of 11 children whom have all preceded her in death.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lynne (Edward) Bain, Lolly (Richard) McCarrick, Elaine (Bruce) Frazeur, and Linda Sue McCarrick; grandchildren, Richard, Tara, Erika, Rhonda, Brooke, Amanda, Shereese, Justin, Tawny and Ashley; 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Capital City Baptist Church, 5100 W. Willoughby Road, Holt, MI. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, May 26th and also one hour prior to the service.
