Sherry Lee (Knipfer) Lozzi

Sherry (Knipfer) Lozzi, a devoted mother, proud grandmother, and lifelong Lansing resident, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 77 years old. Born in Lansing, Michigan, Sherry was the daughter of the late Dorothy Patricia (Kurtz) Knipfer and Charles Knipfer. She graduated from Eastern High School and went on to build a dedicated career with the State of Michigan, working in the department of Third-Party Liability. Her commitment to public service reflected her strong work ethic and genuine care for others.

Sherry raised her son, Nickolas (Nick) Eberbach, in Lansing and considered motherhood her greatest accomplishment. She was deeply devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother. Nothing lit up her world more than time spent with her four granddaughters: NiKayla, Hannah, Adalynn, and Olivia, who were the center of her heart.

Sherry is survived by her son, Nickolas (Nick) Eberbach, and his wife, Jessica; her treasured granddaughters; her brothers, Michael Knipfer (wife Dawn Knipfer) and Rocky Knipfer; and her supportive former husband and father to Nick, Randall Eberbach. She was preceded in death by her sister, Robbe Knipfer Kniffen, and grandson, Aiden Eberbach.

Sherry’s love extended to her extended family and her cherished nieces and nephews: Dale Kniffen (wife Val), and their children Derek, Curtis, and Cody Kniffen, Myra Kniffen, and her children Stephanie and Kenny Perry; Ronnie Kniffen; Bobbi Barlow, Lichelle Villegas-Ortiz, Will Doty, Debbi Knipfer, and Amber Johnson; Kayla Knipfer, Kelly Knipfer, Eric Knipfer, and Katrina Knipfer

After facing cancer with remarkable strength and grace, Sherry is now at peace and comfort, surrounded by eternal love. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, quiet strength, and deep commitment to family. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Rutland Charter Township Cemetery, 4600 Upton Rd, Hastings, MI 49058.
