Terrell Nadeau

Terrell “Terry“ L. Nadeau passed away March 14, 2022 at home in Micco, Florida. His family was by his side to send him off peacefully after his long journey with cancer. Terry lived his life as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many.

Terry was born on August 3,1945 in Lansing, Michigan as the youngest of his five siblings. He graduated from Sunfield High School and married his high school sweetheart Sharon in 1966. They had 56 years of bliss while they raised their three children.

He was successful in all his endeavors and had many passions. In his early years he was a bricklayer. He went on to become one of the first paramedics with the City of Lansing where he was a proud firefighter and instructor for fire programs at Lansing Community College. He later became a business owner of Carpet Man. Eventually, he went back to his true passion and became a fire investigator with Speckin Forensic Labs.

After spending most of their lives in Michigan, Terry and Sharon decided to spend their time where they would be most happy in Micco, Florida. Outside of spending time with friends and family you could find them playing golf, volunteering, or at classic car shows with Miss Molly.

One of Terry’s favorite pastimes was singing Karaoke at the Tiki Bar and Grill where he will forever be remembered for “Shake Rattle & Roll” and “Blue Suede Shoes.” (Yes, he did wear his blue shoes.)

Terry was preceded in death by his siblings and his son, Scott Nadeau. He is survived and missed by his wife, Sharon Nadeau; children, Marnie (Rick) Ramon and Terry “Tig” Nadeau; grandchildren, Niko (April) Centeno, Kirk (Emily) Martinez, Alec (Toni) Centeno, Korey Nadeau, Trevor Villanueva, and Kylee Martinez-Nadeau; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Karson, Kamryn, Willow, and Elliana.

Services are to be held on April 14th, 2022 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI 48912. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the service will be at 12:00 pm. Following the service please join friends and family at Gravity Smokehouse & BBQ 2440 Cedar ST. Holt, MI 48842.
