She was born on April 19, 1947, in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, where she grew up with her three brothers, Paul, George and Tony Yusko. She lived a full life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Thelma was a dynamite salesperson who after many years of working in the industry, owned and operated her own Hot Tub Business, Thelco Industries, in Lansing, Michigan. She enjoyed painting and has created canvas works of art that will be cherished by her family.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Larry Schultz; her parents, Paul and Thelma Yusko (Bosbous); and her son, Thomas O’Neill. She is survived by her daughter, Julie O’Neill; her grandchildren, Paige, Blake and Luke; her great-grandchildren, Dax and Daisy; along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service for Thelma will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with a one-hour prior visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48917, Reverend Brian Lidbeck officiating. Following the service, Thelma will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 2520 W Willow St., Lansing, MI 48917.
