He was born on November 28, 1974, to Mary Jo and Thomas Carl Detzler.
After graduating from high school, Tom spent his career working for MSU Support Staff, DTN Management, and as a plumber. He was known for his outgoing personality, his love of life, and his ability to make friends easily. Thomas had a passion for cars, traveling, and always living life to the fullest.
On February 5, 2025, Thomas married Jenifer Lynn Detzler, in their family home. He is survived by his wife, Jenifer; children, Thomas J. “T.J.” (Taneil Rayne) Detzler, Zach (Elizabeth Morrone) Detzler, and Sullivan "Sully" Detzler; granddaughter, MariLynn Joanne Mediarmid and a granddaughter on the way, Samantha M. Detzler who is due to be born in August 2025; siblings, Angie Detzler, Chrystal Bustillos, and Shane Detzler. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha G. Detzler.
Services for Tom will be announced at a later date.
Thomas lived his life by the motto, "STAY POSITIVE” and his playful and trickster nature was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, and his memory will forever be cherished.
