Vivian Dent

Of Lansing, MichiganAge 83, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Monday, April 16, 2007. She was born on April 8, 1924 in Ada, MI the daughter of Leon and Olive ?Leona? (Scott) Hale. Mrs. Dent was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lansing. She was employed as a Supervisor of Accounts Payable at Oldsmobile having been retired for 25 years and was a member of the Oldsmobile Women?s Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years Charles in 2005; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are her 2 sons, Gregory (Judy) Dent of St. Petersburg, Florida and Kevin (Debbie) Dent of Cadillac; 8 grandchildren, Kara (Paul) Simmons, Justin (Kelly) Dent, Lucas Dent, Tana Dent, Jennifer Ferrer, Jordan Shevlin, Steven Dent, and Lauren Dent; 5 great grandchildren, Ashlyn Simmons, Makalah Ferrer, Hunter Ferrer, Zayda Shevlin, and Aidan Ferrer; 2 brothers, Lloyd (Karen) Hale and Roger (Muriel) Hale; special friend, Kaye Dent; several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Dr. David Smith at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Hwy. Lansing with interment following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
