Born November 10, 1937 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Edward and Arminta Reppert, passed away August 10, 2012 at the age of 74. Wilma retired from the State of Michigan after 23 years of service. She also served as past auxiliary president of VFW Post 6132 as well as a Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Stars. Wilma was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles and word games. She loved to cook, preparing meals for her family and enjoying the time that she spent with them. Her beloved cat was a special companion to her. She will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her enormous heart for people. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Linger; son, Edward Conlin, Clyde Stephen Conlin, II; step-son, Brian Conlin; and grandson, William John Bailey. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Maricatheryn (Donald) Banville of Chicopee, MA and Gwendolyn (Donald) Bailey of Lansing, Sharon (William Bowles) Wright of Quitman, GA ; son, Terrance Conlin of Perry; step-son, James Conlin of Lansing; 17 loving grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1300 Eureka St., Lansing, MI 48912.
