Barbara Ann Puccinelli

PUCCINELLI, Barbara Ann, 77, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, surrounded by her children, after a short, hard fought battle with leukemia. She was born on October 1, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, and moved with her family to Largo, Florida in 1971. She retired from Raytheon in St. Petersburg and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Largo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, to whom she was married for nearly 50 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend who will be sorely missed. She loved to travel, read, and spend time with her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She is survived by her son, Robert M. (Marla) of Largo; daughters, Laura Shives (David) and Kimberly Geary (Bill), both of Tampa; and grandchildren, Amanda and Nicole Puccinelli, DJ and Ryan Shives, and Robby Geary. She had a large family and many friends who are going to miss her dearly.

The family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church 1507 Trotter Rd, Largo, FL 33770.
