68 of Largo, Florida passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home. Cathy was born on April 12, 1944 in Allentown, PA. She attended Central Catholic High School in Allentown and graduated from St. Joseph College in Emettsburg, MD. Cathy was a English teacher at Central Catholic High School in Allentown. She moved to Florida in 2003. Cathy loved to scuba dive. She is survived by her loving husband Delvin Powell of Largo and a son Jeffrey Salemo of Allentown, PA, a step daughter Kelly Powell of New York City, seven grandchildren, a brother Robert McFadden and a sister Sally D’Amore both of PA. She was predeceased by her parents, a son Thomas Duffy and a daughter Isabel Duffy. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be offered to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
