RENFROE, C.E., Jr. “Bud”, passed away September 10, 2013. Bud was born May 23, 1929 in Birmingham, AL and moved to the Clearwater area. He graduated from Clearwater High School in 1947 and is part of a multigenerational family related to several Clearwater area settlers. Bud was very involved in his community. He was an active member of the Exchange Club, the Lyons Club and the Masons. A well known businessman, Bud was the president of Clearwater Beach Bank and is past president of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Elizabeth Ann Padgett Renfroe. Bud is survived by his sons, Clyde William (Deborah) Renfroe, Sr. and John Leslie (Darlene) Renfroe; grandchildren, Clyde William Jr., Edwin, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Adam, Mary, John David and Helen Courtney and 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Monday at First United Methodist Church of Clearwater. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Music Ministry.
