Connie C Gudmundson

Connie started her life’s journey in Salt Lake City, Utah as eldest daughter of Asa and Norma Child and was big sister to Judy, Skip and Wendy. It was in Salt Lake City that she was introduced to Brent Gudmundson who she would be married to for the next 50 years. Over those 50 years, she would continue her journey as a devoted Army wife that would take her all over the United States and overseas, all with her 4 beloved daughters in tow.

It was raising her daughters Kristine(Scott), Karen(Rick) Kathleen and Kimberly(Dale) that would bring her the most joy and be her proudest accomplishment.

In Connie’s later years, she would find a new joy in being a Nana to her Grandchildren, Nicole (Scott), Lindsey(Peter) and Brent(Luselena) and Gammy to her Great Grandchildren, Anna, Avery, Clara, Lena, Archie, Michael and Walker.

We celebrate this incredible woman who lived a big full life and who will be most remembered as a devoted wife and mother and to all who knew her, “a tough old broad”. She was the glue that kept our big loving family together and she will be missed beyond words.

So, “Good Night Mommie Dearest”, “See you at 11:00”, “Love you Momma”, “Love you More” and “Now, go away and quit bothering me”.
