Dale A. Foster, a snowbird who resided in Chili, NY and Largo, FL passed away in Largo, at the age of 75 on November 14, 2020. He was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and his battle was fast and furious; that did not stop him from telling a joke or yelling at one of his in-laws who was over to help him because he had become so weak to do things on his own.
He was predeceased by his parents Allen and Pauline Foster. Dale is leaving behind his wife, Gloria of 34 years. The couple met while working at General Motors where he later retired from. Dale became an instant father to three daughters, Darlene Gambrell, Doreen (Gene) Webster, and Deanna Falce. His grandchildren, Kayleen (Kevin) Halpin, Jeremy (Della) Buzard, William (Sarah) Bedard, Holly & Nicole Gambrell, Stacy & Amanda Webster and 15 great-grandchildren. His estranged sons, and their families. His sister, Diane (Neil) Mathews of Sleepy Hollow, IL and a forest of brother and sister in laws, nieces, and nephews. Dale was a loyal friend to many and kept in touch with several classmates from Irondequoit High School.
