

Russell, Diana “Dee” M., 65 of Largo died early Monday morning July 16th at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater surrounded by family and friends. Born March 3, 1947 in Lakewood, Ohio she was the daughter of Norman W and Phyllis E. Stahl Maudsley . She was a member and supporter of the SPCA Humane Society. Dee is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Malcolm Russell of Largo, two sons James Hardee of San Diego, California and Michael Russell of St. Petersburg, Florida, daughter Jennifer Hardee and her husband Kevin Wille of Pinellas Park, Florida, granddaughter Nikki Hardee, Mike Russell, Scotty Russell and Briana Russell, and two nieces Rebecca Dunmire and Pamela Sethman of Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
Dee had a magnetic personality and was loved by everyone that met her. She had a smile that would light up the room and fill it with warmth. She was genuinely kind to everyone. She adored animals, and animals adored her. The love and support she had for her family was unwavering and true. Her strength was an inspiration to friends and family alike. She courageously endured many different chemotherapy treatments and radiation while keeping a smile on her face and a positive spirit around her. She never complained. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She is and will be missed deeply.
Friends and family may call two hours prior to service from 10am -12noon at the funeral home. A funeral service will be 12 noon Saturday July 21st at Moss Feaster Funeral Home-Serenity Gardens Chapel- 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, FL. 33774.Burial will be in Royal Palms Cemetery South- 101 55th St. S. St. Petersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Society , Suncoast Hospice or the Humane Society.
