Aunt Del always so full of humor, quirky wit, laughter that filled a room and a heart that was ready & willing to give.  I will miss your smile and you ready hearty laugh.. but most of all, I will miss you

Sweet Aunt Del, you will always be in my heart.   Thank you for all the wonderful memories you made with us as kids and as adults.  I will always love you and I will greatly miss you!

Del you were a great "big" sister and we are really going to miss you. But we will remember growing up with you, fighting, fussing, sharing the same bedroom.  You were always a jokester and liked to scare the two us. You would wait until everyone was in bed then tell us scary "boogey man" stories.
Happily we all survived to become best friends.  We loved sitting together and talking about old times.  There won't be three of us to do that anymore, but you will always be with us in our thoughts.

I am at a loss for words to properly describe someone who took all into her family circle, became our Mother Hen and smothered us with biscuits and gravy. A quick laugh, a stern look, or a slight shake of the head all spoke volumes of her ability to communicate effectively.
Many; including myself and Thomas, will miss the force behind our camping expeditions. I will miss the opportunity to Mother her as much as she Mothered us. 
I thank the rest of the family for allowing Thomas and I to share her. We love her and miss her. All memories will be at the forefront the next time I have cheesy eggs with biscuits and gravy.

We're very sorry for  your loss. Del was that older bigger than life cousin who could do things the rest of us younger ones couldn't do. There are many good things to say about Del but what I loved best was her sense of humor. dry and to the point.  We shall miss her greatly but will remember her with love.
