

95 of Clearwater, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born on September 1, 1916 in Detroit Michigan. He moved to this area in 1958. Donald was an accountant, served in the US Army during WWII as a Captain, was a Past Master of the Star Lodge # 78 F&AM, and was a member of the Scottish Rite of Tampa, Egypt Temple of Tampa and the Unity Church of Clearwater. He had two loves, his family and golf. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Helen Jane Spicer of Largo, FL, a son David (Beth) Spicer of Jupiter, FL, three daughters Laurel (Dr. Norman) Grantham of Smithfield, NC, Susan (John) Haggitt of Clearwater Beach, FL, Bonnie (Dennis) Fuller of Belleair, FL. Ten grandchildren Chris Provan, Susan Thomas, Matthew Provan, Margaret Spicer, Sean Spicer, Casey Spicer, Devon Haggitt, Sarah Haggitt, Alexandra Fuller and Brittany Fuller along with three great grandchildren and a sister Betty (Bob) Stricker of Dunedin, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be offered to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Bonnie & Dennis Fuller, 308 Sunny Lane, Belleair, FL 33756 at 6 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
