CASEY, Dorothy “Jean” 87, of Pinellas Park died Sept 19, 2010 at her home. She has been a resident of Pinellas County since 1969 coming from Buffalo NY. During her time in Florida she resided for some time in St. Petersburg and Timber Pines in Spring Hill FL. She also loved her summer home located in Land Harbor, Newland NC. At one time she volunteered at the All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Jean was very involved in art, and was a member of the Decorative Painters Association. She also enjoyed arts and crafts. She is survived by a daughter Lynn Cohen (Alan) TN, grandchildren; Lisa Funicelli, Suzanne Stewart, Richard Fredette, David Casey, Ian Casey, Brittany Casey, and great-grandchildren; Shaina and Daniel Stewart and Clayton Funicelli. She is preceded in death by husband John E. Casey who passed away in 1993, and a son David B. Casey. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Sept 23rd at 2 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo. Visitation will precede the service from 12 noon until service time.
