Greene, Dorothy A. (Schreifer) 91 of Largo, FL died on 8 February 2013. Dorothy was the wife of Harry J. Greene, who predeceased her in 2000. About 1980, Dorothy and Harry organized the purchase of Holiday Shores Park in Largo, producing one of the first resident-owned parks in Florida. Dorothy was born in Scranton, PA and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Seminole, FL for many years. Survivors include her sister Gloria M. Helms of Largo; sons Rick, Falmouth, MA; Ron, Durango, CO; and Jeff, NY, NY; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held in the Chapel at Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:15 AM on Wednesday February 20. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo.
