Douglas M. Pearce

Douglas Macarthur Pearce, 79, of Largo, FL, passed away on June 22, 2021. He was born in Youngsville, North Carolina on May 17,1942. Doug graduated from Norlina High School and received a financial degree from Eckerd College. Doug held many positions at Largo Medical Center up until 2020. He was a member of Optimist International and had a passion for golfing, sports and his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by Margaret Pearce; his children, Douglas Pearce Jr (Diane) , Troy Pearce (Kerry), and Dr. Meg Pearce (John); grandchildren, Tyler Pearce, Orian Pearce, Ian Pankey; he also leaves behind several brothers and many relatives in North Carolina.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 27th at Serenity funeral home from 10am-11am with a memorial service beginning at 11am with a reception to follow.
