Sadly miles and time distanced me from this dear man who once was a regular part of my life. In Galveston we found not only a priest but a dear friend in Harvey.  Our family found warmth and love at St. Augustine, and shared many meals and good times with Harvey. I am sad he is gone and sad I was not a better friend when we moved to different places in our lives.

Fr Harvey helped me grow in my life.  He was always there to lend an ear or be a sounding board when I was unsure of what to do or what needed to be done next in the church.  He was always there for everyone who had a need.  I will always love him and his memory.
