It’s difficult to believe that it has been 4 years since you left us,Mom. I cherish every moment we shared together. I miss you  and love you.

Nan...where to start....almost 25 years ago you let me into your family and treated me and my boys as part of it, and I will always be grateful for that. I have so many fun memories of holidays, trips and family nights, especially my impromptu lessons in Italian. You and I will always smile when I say "Your mom's got your bowl". I know you are now at peace, and with all your family and our dear sweet Lindsay. Until we all meet again, know that you are loved.

My dear Dolly, there are no words to express the heartache I feel at the loss of such a beautiful friend. It was the luckiest day of my life when I moved next door to you and Norman 50 years ago. Right from the beginning, you were more than neighbors. There were so many holidays together with your incredible hospitality, caring and of course culinary delights! You became the big sister I always wished I had. I have never known anyone with a bigger heart, such devotion to family and love that always overflowed from every inch of your being. Your devotion to your granddaughter, Lindsay throughout her short time on this earth was awe inspiring. Your love and caring of Michael, Carrie and Kim is an example of what a perfect mother should be. I am sure Norman and Lindsay are giving you a big hug. I will miss our phone calls and always regret we didn’t have a chance for one more visit. Rest in peace Dolly! We love you!

Nana… you will be missed beyond measure. You were the matriarch of the Esposito family.  Each time we visited you always had a smile to greet us. We will never forget how much joy and excitement you had when Don taught Bailey a new trick in 5 minutes!  It is those moments we will always cherish.  Rest peacefully.

My heart breaks at the thought of not being able to hug you again, but when I think of all the wonderful meals, movies, and sitting close on the couch with you, I will always smile.  Thank you for all the love and support you gave me through the years.  Thank you for including me in the family.  Thank you for teaching me how to make manicotti.  Most importantly, thank you for being you.  The world is less colorful without you in it. 

Mom, you recently told me Lindsay was the greatest gift I ever gave you.  Now you, Lindsay and Dad are all together and I miss you all so very much.  You are the perfect Mom in every way, you never left the house with a hair out of place, took the entire neighborhood to and from school, picked us up if we were sick and you were “Mom” to all my friends and “Nana” to all Lindsay’s.  You share your unconditional love with everyone, your kindness and generosity are endless.   
You smiled with me when I was happy, comforted me when I was sad and instilled a strong faith in God and sense of right and wrong.  You made sure the entire family had everything we wanted, not just needed, never thinking of your own needs.  Mom, you made every day of my life special, but holidays and vacations are my absolute favorite memories.  Every holiday, friends and family would gather at the Esposito house to celebrate – you delivered a dazzling banquet every time and always had enough food to feed an army, and no one can cook like you Mom, everything you make is amazing!  You filled our home and my life with overflowing love, I could not have been blessed with a better Mom.  I can never express how grateful I am for all that you have taught me and all that you have given me – I am who I am because of you.  I can’t imagine life without you and Lindsay, you have been the strongest most positive influence in my life.  Nothing and nowhere will feel like home until we are all together again.  I love you with all my heart, thank you for being my Mom.  XXOO  


All my life you were always there for me. You loved me unconditionally, believed in me and encouraged me to be my best. I knew no matter what happened I always had you to turn to for love, support, guidance and advice. I know I didn’t always make things easy for you growing up and we had our moments but I couldn’t have asked for a better mom. As I grew up you became more than a mom, you became my best friend.

I miss you, Mom. I wish you were here. I feel your absence every moment of everyday. I miss seeing you everyday, hearing your voice, watching tv with you, going to the store with you and most of all just talking to you. I miss your cooking and all the wonderful meals you prepared for the family. I miss your guidance and advice in life. Everyday since you have been gone something has come up that I thought I’ll just go ask Mom and talk to her about it and then I remember I can’t do that because you are no longer here.

You gave me such a wonderful life, Mom.  My life is filled with wonderful memories of all the things we did together. I remember the great vacations we all took as a family, the wonderful holidays you created for the family and all the love you always shared with us. I will always cherish those memories and more. 

You were the best fit for me as a mom. I have always felted very lucky, honored and thankful that you were my mom. I know they say time heals all wounds but I don’t believe any amount of time will heal the loss I feel in my heart for you, Mom. I will love and honor you always.

I know the pain you suffered the last couple of years was unbearable and I’m grateful you are no longer suffering.  I realize you are in a better place and with most of the family now. Please give everyone there a big hug and kiss for me especially Lindsay, Dad, Marte and Mickey. I Love you, Mom, and miss you terribly.

Miss Florence was such a lovely lady!  I am honored to have known her and appreciated her kindness and warmth - she always made me feel at home and welcome.  And that cute little twinkle in her eyes was a visible expression of her sense of humor.  God Bless  her and may she Rest In Peace.
