75, of Largo, FL went to be with the lord on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park, FL. She was born in Worcester, MA, and came here in 2004 from Hampton, VA. She is a retired Registered Nurse. She was a loving Army wife and mother. She enjoyed country music, Rays and Red Sox baseball, various critical thinking games, and novels written by James Patterson. Throughout her life she was active in volunteering with several different organizations. After retiring in Florida she became active in her community. She was a volunteer librarian for the community she lived in as well as a member of the welcoming committee.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Edward B. Cantwell Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Colleen M. Sakow (Rick), St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Edward B III, Hampton, VA; and six grandchildren, Scott T. Sakow, St. Petersburg, FL, Trey Y. Sakow, St. Petersburg, FL, Edward B IV, Aiken, SC, Aiden S., Hampton, VA, Hannah J., Hampton, VA, and Samuel D., Hampton, VA.
A mothers place can never be filled. She will be dearly missed, forever in our hearts, and her spirit will be forever remembered. Her memories will be treasured and her life celebrated for the amazing woman she was.
In honor of her wishes, a private graveside ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made in Janes name to Suncoast Hospice.
