Jean Ann Hughes, 85 of Seminole, Florida passed away over the weekend of Oct 1, 2016 under the care of Suncoast Hospice. Jean was born August 09, 1931 in New Castle, PA. Jean lived in Seminole Florida for the past 29 years. She enjoyed time spent with her family at her home and pool as well as friends through her church, crafting clubs and neighborhood. She spent a lifetime in education sharing her nursing trade with many students and peers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Henry C. Hughes, Jr of Seminole FL as well as her daughter Lindi L. Vollmuth and family of Pottstown, PA, son Brian D. Hughes and family of Leonard, MI and preceded by her daughter Sandra J. Marx of Cranberry, PA. Also surviving are her two brothers Samuel Hitchings and family of Strasburg, VA and Dr C. Gordon Hitchings and family of Edinboro, PA, as well as 6 beloved grandchildren.
