Jerry Lee Minton, age 62, resided in Belleair Beach Florida. He passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor. Three day’s after his wife, Patricia Minton, passed away from lung cancer, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that metastasized to his lymph nodes, liver, abdomen, bones, and brain. Jerry was born February 7, 1952 to Olin and Lois Minton in Denver, Colorado. He has two siblings, Michael Minton and Judy Goebel. He received his Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management and Hotel Restaurant Management from Florida International University. Jerry was the owner and President of Beverage License Consultants, established October 1998. He also held a real estate license.
Jerry is survived by: his son Daniel Minton (Jacqueline) of Hudson, daughter Tiffany Duquette (Kyle) of Nashville, TN, grand children Sofie Duquette, Ivan, Jacob, Jonah Minton, brother Michael Minton (Toni), sister Judy Goebel (James).
A memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home (13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774) on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1pm.
