Swee, Joan R. 83 of Largo died Tuesday Feb. 7 at Largo Medical Center. Born January 10, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Louis M and Cissie May Luggard Dekkers. Mrs. Swee was a Homemaker and was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Clearwater. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years George Swee of Largo whom she married July 1, 1961, two sons George L. (Rayna) Swee of Shelby Township and Chris E. (Renee) Swee of Chelsea, Alabama, brother Howard (Marie) Dekkers of Naples Florida, sister-in-law Corinne Dekkers, grandchildren Brent, Kyle, Chad, Lauren and Sara Swee. She was loved by many friends and family and will be deeply missed. She is predeceased by her brother Ronald Dekkers. A memorial service will be March 16th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home-Serenity Gardens Chapel Largo at 10:00am. There will be no calling hours. Inurnment will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
