75 of Seminole, FL passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home. Joseph was born April 19, 1938 in Lancaster, New York. He moved to this area in 1973 coming from Lancaster. Joseph retired as a Salesman from the Frito Lay Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church Of Indian Rocks of Largo, an active bowler on a league at Liberty Lanes, and a previous member of the Elks Club in Lancaster, NY. Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Wendel of Seminole, FL, a son Donnie (Wendy) Wendel of Largo, FL, two daughters, Debbie (Ross) Ciechowski of Largo, FL and Denise (David) Hedgepath of Seminole, FL. Four grandchildren Joseph, Sara, Megan and Emma along with a brother Jimmie (Mary) Wendel of Lancaster, NY and a sister Susie (Don) Busch of Brantingham, NY. Memorial contributions may be offered to the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774 where a Gathering of Friends will be held from 6 - 8 pm, Saturday, May 4th, 2013.
