Maged was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1942. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Accounting at Ain Shams University in Cairo, where he met his future wife, Nahed. Maged and Nahed married in 1966 and they moved to New York in the United States in 1969. Maged worked as a business manager at the City University of New York Technical College for over 30 years.
Maged loved to travel, he loved to entertain friends and family, and he was a devoted husband and father. He loved the beach and enjoyed retirement with Nahed in Redington Shores for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nahed, by his son, Christopher, by his grandson, Alex, by his brothers Adel William and Reda William, and by friends and family.
A funeral service for Maged will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo, FL 33774. A graveside service will occur immediately following the mass at Serenity Funeral Home & Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774 with a reception to follow.
