Born on May 30, 1935, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Marion was the daughter of Lojah Kankowski and Charles Rittinger Sr. She graduated from Teaneck High School, her career in auditing with the City of St. Petersburg closed with retirement.
Marion was married to Roy Starr, Jack Lamb, and Kenneth Meldrim, all of whom preceded her in death. Throughout her life, she formed deep connections with those around her, becoming a cherished member of both the New Horizon’s Ladies Club and St. Pete’s Corrections Mentor Group. She was a passionate gardener, loved cruising, enjoyed creating beautiful diamond art, and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Marion is survived by her three adult children and their families, as well as extended family throughout the Northern United States. She will be remembered for her kindness, her vibrant spirit, and her love for life.
