Mike, age 84, of Santurce, Puerto Rico, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Born December 10, 1935, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Mike was the son of the late Juan and Josefina Berchini.
Mike enjoyed his retirement alongside his wife Juanita Colon. His interests included fishing and boating, and a good cup of red wine. But above all, his greatest enjoyment was his family. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita, sons and daughters-in-law: Roberto & Daisy Berchini, Michael & Vanessa Berchini and Joseph Berchini, daughters and sons-in-law: Rosa & Robert Terc and Maria & Alberto Ricci, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many siblings, nieces, and nephews.
A private committal service will be held at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in the Lakeside Chapel Mausoleum on February 26, 2021, at 10 am. The service will be livestream and details of the virtual ceremony will be sent to family and friends.
