POWERS, Mildred, 94, of Largo, FL died June 24, 2011. Mildred moved to Largo in 2000 from her native Candor, NY. She was a member of Fairfield Methodist Church and the New York State Grange. She was a chef at Cornell University until she retired. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart (1982) and daughter, Phyllis (2000). Mildred is survived by her daughters, Donna (Kenneth) Short, Candor, Sharon (John) Carlile, Largo and Sandra (James) Berry, Candor; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Viewing will be from 11:00 am until 11:45 am Thursday. A funeral service will follow at Noon at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY 13743.
