98 of Largo, FL passed away on May 14, 2011 in Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL. Paul was born August 24, 1912 in Lancaster, PA to Henry Paul & Anna Mary (Diem) Downey who preceded him in death along with his wife, Mary L (Rowins) Downey who died in 1988. He then remarried in 1989 to Parthene G Murphy who died in 2006. Paul moved to this area in 1974 after retiring as Vice President of Director of Construction with the William L. Crow Construction Company, New York, NY. He served his country in the US Army during WWII from 1942 – 1946. Paul is survived by several nieces. Memorial contributions may be offered to Calvary Episcopal Church, 1615 First Street, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10 am at Calvary Episcopal Church, 1615 First Street, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785.
