

Paul John Maiko, age 91, passed away at his home in Seminole, FL on Monday, January 29, 2024, surrounded by his children. Paul was born on December 18, 1932, to Anna and Andrew Maiko in Greenwich, CT, and grew up in Byram, CT. Paul graduated from Greenwich High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon his return home, he continued to serve in the U.S. Army National Guard for 7 years.
Paul and his family moved to Florida in 1969 - first residing in Maderia Beach, then moving to Seminole in 1973. During this time, he worked in the construction industry and home protection services. From 1980 to 1991, Paul lived in Greenwich, CT, as an estate handy man, and for Park's Plumbing in Stamford, CT. He returned to Seminole in 1991 and continued working as a condominium maintenance manager until 1996. Paul was a hard worker whose main goal was to provide for his family. He passed on his strong work ethic to his children.
Paul is survived by his children Tammie (Phil Smith), Terri, Tracy (Jamie Clark), Steven (Gail Rogers), and Holly; sisters Ann (Miert) and Mary (D'Angelillo); several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and several fur baby grand kids. He is predeceased by his mother Anna (1967), his father Andrew (1981), and his brother John (2016).
Paul supported local and national charities for animals, veterans, and children's health. In lieu of funeral services, and to honor Paul, the family asks that donations be sent in his memory to your favorite charity.
Paul always worried about his kids. Rest in peace Dad and know that you were the best Dad ever. You no longer need to worry about us - you taught us well. Team Maiko!
