So many years late! Bob was the most generous person you could ever meet! The reason why America is still great! Not going to give away my identity, but all I can say is I worked for him, I was a family friend, and I could never have ever met a more genuine, and more down to earth , real human! Bob was the ultimate and most passionate believer in humanity! Rest in Peace to this magnificent human!

What a loss! A kinder or gentler soul I have never met!  To know him is to respect and love him.  My thoughts and prayers for the whole Miller/Bahr family!

You can always find or replace a loss watch or loss book, two items you can never replace are loss time and the loss of a life. We loss a lot of time and living life with the sense of belonging upon dad's passing. The impression you made on Wesley and Spencer two years ago was amazing to see, to the point that this years spring break plans included a visit to see you- planning as early as the Christmas holidays. I am really sorry that you did not have the chance to see your grandson's more often and get to know the young men they have become through your influence by me. I was so grateful for your phone call a few months ago to just check on me that has left everlasting impressions on me. I am very proud to be called Robert Bahr and hope to instill the same on my children.  From all the Bahr's of Texas - we will miss you more than you can imagine

I am so happy that we had 21 years[1959-1980] together. With love and you gave me our 3 sons. I looked at photos and thinking about them  and you. I'm glad that I got to tell you how much I love you and you said it back. Love you always. rest now

Mr. Robert W. Bahr was my brother Michael, Sisters Kathie and Patrice's Father.
I was born in 1961 some time after my mother and Bob had divorced but we as a family always got together during the summer and went to a lake up north somewhere. I called him uncle Bob. All of his family were some of the nicest people I will ever remember. And Bob was a good man. I didn't find out that he was my siblings father until I was around 11 or so. This made no difference as to how I felt about him or the whole family, They were very nice to me as was he. I wish he had been my father as well.  He will be missed very much by myself and my mother. I tell this story because it does effect me in so many ways. I will never forget his kindness, His smile and his effect on my life. My condolences to all my "Cousins" out there. Dicky.

Dad, You were the strongest man I ever knew. You have taught me so many things thruought my life--in silent ways. One of your biggest gripes were how I was always late for everything, but by golly you have to give me some credit today. I was the second person there for your lunch date. Arriving before Mom and all the others, and I was on time tonight. Miracles do happen don't they!
Never missing a day of work in your life, working steady and hard to the end. No "bull". I think this is why you and Lonnie got along so well.  We had our private talk before you passed--whether any1 else knows or not. I find comfort in knowing I said everything I needed to tell you--I hope.  I told you that my favorite memory was when you came to the hospital when GraceAnn ( Gracei-annie) was born.  You stayed with me and the baby for hours, eventhough you hated hospitals. That ment so much to me, and I loved you so much for that. I knew you heard me and understood because i saw your eyes look at me, and i felt your hand. YOU KNEW. As mom told you, and you always told me when I was little, "When you grow up and get married, then you can have whatever you want". Well you know i did. I got my horses that i always dreamed of having, and you never downed me for that. --You understood. I thank you for being in my life for as long as you were, I just didnt know the end would come so soon.  I told Hunter that God must have needed a new right hand man, because the one he had just wasn't cuttin' it. But maybe Collin was right. God must have needed some new flooring.  
Surely you must have been impressed with the turn out tonight, and had a good laugh at the "Preacher". I also know you must have been impressed with Hunter as he spoke. He misses you so much. WE WILL TAKE CARE OF MOM AS WE PROMISED. I hope you can be at peace now, and meet up happily with the rest of our, and your family. Pop, although we met later in life the years I knew you and spent time with you were blessed and memorable. From the time of our fishing tournament where you caught the biggest wahoo anyone saw and we spend week's eating it to the time you took me into the fold of your business. You gave me the love not only of yourself but of my brothers and sisters I'd not known before and who are now my family as well. Most of all you gave me the love of your love, my second mom Geraldine. Who is a saint in her own right. And I am glad you found much happiness to the end with this remarkable lady.  You lived life to the fullest up to the very end and I can only imagine the reason you were taken was the lord was in desperate need of new flooring and had to choose the best person out there to do his work. You are in my thoughts and my heart every day and look forward to the times we can again spend together. My heart hurts now but am happy that eternal peace has found it's way to you.
