

Robert (Bob) Dale Heinicka, a longtime resident of Seminole, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024 at the age of 93. Born on June 21, 1931 in Racine, Wisconsin, Bob was the son of Robert and Alice Heinicka. After graduating from Washington Park High School, he served in the U.S. Army for two years before embarking on a career in home construction. In 1969, Bob relocated his family to Seminole, where he founded Heinicka Homes, a successful residential construction company that built many homes in the local community. Throughout his life, Bob was an avid golfer who enjoyed weekly card games, was a passionate sports fan, and dedicated time to coaching youth sports teams. As a coach, he started a six-man football league and youth basketball league through the Seminole Junior Warhawks.
Bob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Degler Heinicka, as well as his five sons: Jeffrey Heinicka (Trish), Kim Heinicka (Julie), Kevin Heinicka (Sheryl), Kurt Heinicka, and Gary Heinicka (Laura). He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Kris Heinicka (Leota), Kelly Conklin (Andy), Rebecca Potts (Brandon), Jodie Libadisos (Dylan), Tara Heinicka, and Jeffrey Heinicka, Jr. (Alex). Bob is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and Mary's sons - John Degler (Beth), Paul Degler, and Mark Degler (Jane) - along with their families.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Lois Heinicka, and his brother, Richard Heinicka.
A private interment will be held at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
