

He was born on December 25th, 1925 in Zeeland, Michigan. He served in the US Navy during World War II where he drove a landing craft in the Pacific theater. After moving to Chicago Illinois, he took a job with the Wrigley Company, a job he would hold for 15 years. He then relocated to Menasha, Wisconsin, and finally to Largo, Florida in 1966. He served as Co-Owner of Romeyn and Associates Real Estate before retiring in the mid 1980’s.
An avid sportsman, he was an expert golfer, volleyball player, and bowler and loved to watch professional football. In his later years, he took an interest in watching his son’s participation with community music and would always attend concerts and performances by the St. Petersburg Community Band and the Second Time Arounders Marching Band.
He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Mabel (Mickie) Romeyn of Largo, a brother Don-Lee, and a son, Robert M. Romeyn of St. Petersburg.
