

Rosemary (Enzinna) Piazza, 85, of Largo, FL, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Clearwater, FL. She was born a twin on October 13, 1938, in Lockport, NY to Anthony "Neno" and Mary Enzinna. Rosemary is survived by her twin sister, Rita Lombardi. She married the love of her life, John J. Piazza Sr., on February 27, 1960, and they shared over fifty wonderful years of marriage together.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed on October 3, 2016. Rosemary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, John Jr. (Natalie) Piazza, Susan (Scott) McIntosh, Sally (Enos) Burks, Steven (Angie) Piazza, Carol (Chris) Montie, Paula (Victor) Ciardelli, Nadine (Rob) Baldwin. Rosemary was a loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
Rosemary had a deep Catholic faith. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy High School. Rosemary went on to receive her diploma at Bryant & Stratton Business Institute, Buffalo, NY. She also earned her Interior Decorating certificate from the International Correspondence School, Scranton, PA. She had a love for sports, where she cheered on the Tampa Bay Bucs, Rays, Lightning, Buffalo Bills, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She was an accomplished cook, making her special strawberry jelly and loved to play tennis, bowl, golf, cross stitch, and scrapbooking. Rosemary and John moved their family to Florida in 1975, where she coached softball at Seminole Warhawk Field and won several state championships. She was a strong, compassionate leader who believed in her players and took great pride in their success. Rosemary was a devoted volunteer. She volunteered at Blessed Sacrament school and Bauder Elementary, the D.A.R.E. program, working alongside the Sheriff's Department, Toys for Tots and the Armed Forces History Museum. In addition, her philanthropic endeavors included Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Bauder Elementary School, Clearwater Central Catholic High School capital campaigns, Blessed Sacrament Capital Campaigns, Rocks the Cure Foundation, St. Joesph's Indian School, St. Jerome Capital Campaigns and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Rosemary's legacy of love, grace, and strength will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her curly, sassy hair that added an extra spark to her presence, her unwavering faith, and the countless lives touched by her grace.
