So sorry to hear of Shane's passing.  He and I were good friends while stationed at Ft. Campbell, together.  We even shared the top half of a century home together for about a year, while living off-post in Hopkinsville, KY.  He was always good at getting me to laugh...and I'm sure he's probably the ONLY soldier at Ft. Campbell to have ever owned (and ridden) a Fluorescent Orange and Green Bicycle (hand-painted by himself, of course!)  I've got a lot of fond memories of my military days; and, Shane helped create a large portion of them!!  I love you, Brother!  See ya' on the other side!  My prayers go out to ALL family members and friends.

I am sorry to here about the passing of Shane.  Shane and I were stationed at Fort Campbell together and he was always fun to be around we had a lot of great times.  Shane was always in my thoughts even after he left the service. I just wish that we had stayed in contact more than an occasional facebook post.  You will never be forgotten Shane.

Shane--a man that was a true gentleman. His smile was true. His heart pure. His eyes twinkled when he spoke of his family. It was sincerely an honor to know and work with him.

Every day I find little reminders of Shane around the office. I took over his position at St. Mary's when he moved to Florida to be with his family whom he loved so dearly. I remember him fondly, especially his singing, "celebrity" impersonations, and enormous smile. He was my friend, my fellow crusader, and my co-worker. I will miss you dearly DunkaShane. You are with me everyday as I try to continue what you started at St. Mary's.

Shane, you will be deeply missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to know you...I pray for peace and comfort for your family, and for you.

Nan and family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Please keep your memories close and know that so many are thinking about you.

I grew up with Shane and his brothers.  All great people. Shane's smile was the thing I remember most.  They all kept me laughing throughout my teen years. Going to their house I always sensed the strong family bond that I pray will help them through this most difficult of times. RIP Shane.

To Shane and Nan,and your two handsome sons: You have been part of my family for a long time,when you first worked for Dr. Bill. What a joy it was to see you there each time when Lucian had a visit. Always a smile,kind hug, words of encouragement...always giving-never taking. You lit up a room the way a 200 watt light bulb would,some kind of energy would energize the space you occupied. You consoled me in the recent loss of my darling Lucian,we exchanged phone numbers in the hope that I could visit your lovely family soon and you prayed with me. Little did I know that would be the last time I would speak with you. Nan,I know your heart is broken and the light of your life was taken much too soon. God's love and peace will be there as you need it-all those who love you will ease your sorrow. Time is the only healer. Although you had to part, you do so only in distance, never in heart.I offer my deepest saddness on your loss-you and your sons will always be remembered in my prayers. Shane, I have known you for a long time.   You always took care of everyone that you cared about.   I remember drinking a little too much after Tim's wedding, You and Nan took care of me, calling Carl to tell him that I was spending the night at your place.  You were a great friend.   Your friendship was a gift to many people. I miss you already.

Shane was a amazing person who I had the blessed oppurtunity of meeting at St Marys. He was so inspirational to everyone around him and he had a way of making a bad day turn around just by giving you words of encouragement.
