

Bill lived a life defined by service, dedication, and a deep appreciation for both learning and adventure. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, New York, in 1967, and went on to earn a degree in accounting from Rider College in New Jersey in 1973. At the age of 18, Bill joined the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged as a combat Vietnam Veteran, serving with H&S Co, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines (2/9), 3rd Marine Division.
Bill first channeled his strong work ethic into entrepreneurship, owning and operating Bedford Tile for 11 years. He later dedicated 24 years of his life to education as an elementary school teacher, where he inspired and guided countless students.
A man of many passions, Bill found great joy in aviation, logging over 30,000 hours as a private pilot. He also loved antique cars, motorcycles, boating, and golf, and was always eager to travel and explore. He cherished time spent with friends, especially his standing Monday Skyline Chili and Thursday breakfasts with his buddies.
Bill was an active member of several organizations that reflected his interests, including Pin-MAR, the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA), the Auburn Cord Duesenberg (ACD) Club, the Model T Ford International Club, the Suncoast Model T Club, the Suncoast Corvette Club, the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group – Skyway Chapter, and the Harley Owners Group (HOG) Motorcycle Club.
He will be remembered as a loyal, loving, hardworking, caring, and adventurous man who deeply valued his family and friendships.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Nereyda; his daughters, Joyce, Celia, and Meredith; his brother, Gary; his sons-in-law, Hugo and Marin; and his cherished grandchildren, Enzo, Sofia, and Cole, as well as many loving friends and family.
