William R Clark 82, a resident of Redington Beach and West Chicago, IL passed away May 11, 2015 at Baycare Alliant Hospital in Dunedin FL. He was born in Canton IL to parents Dr. A.H. and Marion (Burmaster) Clark on August 4, 1932. He was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, and received his Masters from Bradley University. Mr Clark served with the US Army and was employed as the Director for the Food and Drug Administration, and retired at the position of Mid West Regional Director. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Shirley (Gray) Clark, daughters Christine Zimmerman and Karen Van Dyke, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation hours are planned for Thursday May 14th from 2-3 pm at Serenity Funeral Home 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo. A service will also be held on Thursday at 3 pm with Reverend Jack Stevenson of Anona United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
