William Knouse

Knouse, William “Bill", passed on May 25, 2012 at the age of 67 years. Bill was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Helen (nee Zilligen); children, William "Ken" Knouse, Buffalo Grove, IL, Cynthia (Bob) Columbia, Algonquin, IL, Steve Knouse and Tiffany Tipton both of Seminole, FL, Jeff (Reiko) Knouse, Denver, CO, Heidi (Richie) Arsenault, Denver, CO; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; adoptive parents, Ralph and Della Lawson, Winston-Salem, NC.; brother Joe Knouse, Orland Park, IL and sister, Jane Mercer, Naples, FL. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Arline and Ada (nee Joseph) Knouse; brothers, Melvin Knouse, David Knouse and sister, Delores Robertson.

Bill and Helen have owned Crown Care Medical Supplies since 2001. He is remembered for his heartfelt generosity, love of family, kindness, sense of humor and wit, Christian values and grace. He touched the lives of many in an uplifting, positive way.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held 10 am Friday, June 1, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 411 Turner Street, Clearwater, FL 33756 (727) 446-5955. Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Children’s Home,1001 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
