Born in San Agustin Betis, Pampanga on May 3, 1940, Antonio was the son of Adela and Dalmicio David and the youngest of nine children. Adela raised all nine children herself after losing Dalmicio during World War II. I believe this where Antonio had learned the value of hard work and caring for family.
Antonio attended University of Philippines for two years, studying Mechanical Engineering and then attended Far Eastern University for Business. After college, he worked in Manila as a driver for the Director of Fiber Inspections. During this time, he met Teresita De Guzman and shortly after they married in 1967.
In 1970, Antonio and Teresita David had moved to the United States. His first job was at the Presbyterian Hospital in San Francisco, California, in the environmental services department. In 1975, Antonio began working for Southern Pacific Railroad Company as a laborer. In 1993, after hard work and dedication, Antonio was able to start his own trucking company called 3D’s Trucking.
After years of working two jobs, Antonio was able to retire in 1998. In 2002, Antonio and Teresita David had made the decision to move to Las Vegas, Nevada. During his final years, Antonio spent his retirement enjoying working in his garden.
On June 4, 2013 Antonio passed away.
Arrangements under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
