Basil Thomas Moore Jr.

Basil T. (Tom) Moore Jr., 78, of Las Vegas, passed away September 19, 2018. He was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on August 30, 1940 to Basil T. Moore and Margaret Moore (Bowman). Tom served as a Captain in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1967. Upon the completion of his military service, he spent his entire career in the wood manufacturing industry. In his retirement, he was a professional ski instructor and race coach. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his stepdaughter and her husband, Becky and Kipp Fawcett; his stepson and his wife, Martin and Michelle Snyder; and four grandchildren, Abby, Jake, Marty and Brooke. Tom will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.helpusadopt.org.
