Benjamin Albala

Ben was born in New York, New York on August 5,1942 to Toula (nee Issaias) and Nathan Albala and was a Nevada resident since 2013. Ben is predeceased by his parents and brother Isaac. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy (nee Kaplan); sister, Matilda Gelman (Israel); son, Mitchell (Mona); daughter, Michelle McCarthy (Charles); as well as his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Aside from working as a plate maker in offset printing, Ben enjoyed being a member of the Lions Club and was a Boy Scout committee member. He had a love for Las Vegas, the mountains, the big open skies, and the casinos. He enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, poker, canasta, and bunco. You could always find him singing and bopping to the oldies and Motown. Memorial donations in Ben’s memory can be made to either the Lung Cancer Research Foundation or the Lion’s Club. Services for Ben will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, August 8, 2025, at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2667 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. King David Memorial Chapel made the arrangements.
