Born on November 21, 1943 to William and Rose Schreiber, Beverly was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where she “walked to and from school in the snow every day, uphill, both ways.” From the moment Beverly arrived in Las Vegas in March of 1963 with her husband and sweetheart since junior high school Barry D. Eisen, she was an active and beloved member of the community. Beverly served as a board member for the Chaparral High School Parent Advisory Council, Woodbury Jr. High School PTA, four elementary school PTAs, American Cancer Society Auxiliary, B’nai B’rith Women, Children’s Heart Foundation, Las Vegas Hadassah, National Kidney Foundation, Nevada Power Community Advisory Board, Temple Beth Sholom, UNLV Interfaith Student Center, Women’s American ORT and many more. In addition to a career working in the media, retail, legal and medical fields, Beverly was a proud and devoted wife, mother and Bubbe. She enjoyed attending sporting events, theater and shows of all types - from Broadway and Las Vegas performances to elementary school plays and band concerts. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bernard Schreiber, in-laws Albert and Mollie Eisen, brothers-in-law Robert W. Eisen and Stanley Eisen, sister-in-law Maxine Eisen, and niece Julie Eisen. She is survived by her husband Barry, sons Steven (Stacy), Robert (Karyne), Andrew (Diane), grandchildren Jonathan (Dayna), Adam Jacob, Hannah, and Reese, sisters in-law Anne Schreiber and Shirley Eisen, nieces and nephews Ellen Schreiber (Joseph Michaud), Bill Schreiber (Rita), Debbie Eisen (Con Erskine), Barry P. Eisen (Patti), Mark Eisen (Sarah) Greg Eisen (Lisa), numerous great and great great nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless others that only knew her as “Mom,” “Bubbe” or “Aunt Bev.” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly’s name to Children’s Heart Foundation, https://chfn.kindful.com or Midbar Kodesh Temple, https://www.midbarkodesh.org/donate. King David handled the arrangements.
