Dear Neil, both your parents were a big part of my life as well as your brother. We held a bond so strong, I Loved them with all my heart . I have not seen you since your bar mitzvah. But the. time and miles passed still made my heart love each one of you stronger. Carl and Helene are reunited again. I hate goodbyes,  so with that I shall say see ya later, talk soon keep in touch please. I have pictures, I need to dig out and I need to share with you. Talk soon .Love Always little Tammy. On March 22, 2026 my Dad Carl Gottlieb walked his final mile on earth. Born in Brooklyn, NY the great Carl Gottlieb was a U.S. Merchant Mariner in his younger days. My Dad was an avid photographer and a cool raconteur. My Dad loved his family and has now been reunited with his wife, the immortal irreplaceable Helene Gottlieb and his son, the immortal Larry Gottlieb. My Dad's two favorite restaurants were Katz's on Houston and Ludlow St and (of course) the late, great Jade Mountain on 12th St and 2nd Ave. I have a thousand wonderful memories of my Dad. I especially want to thank him for, shall we say, "tolerating" my heavy metal music. Things can get loud in those NYC apartments. I think that maybe once he conceded that the Crumbsuckers were "ok." I will now hold down the fort on this side. Love you forever Dad. Give my love to Mom and Larry and the rest of the gang.
