

Catherine Sharon Williams Callier was born on August 6, 1952, in San Pedro, California, to Katherine E. Williams and Robert L. Williams. She was the fourth child born.
Catherine received her education at Compton Senior High School. She later made her home in Compton, California, where she began her career with the Compton Police Department. She faithfully served for 32 years, demonstrating dedication, strength, and a deep commitment to her work and community.
Catherine was a proud mother to her son, Carylis B. Callier II, and her daughter Kisha L. Callier, a devoted stepmother to Carlethia Y. Callier In her later years, she devoted much of her time to caring for her beloved son, Carylis, until his passing in 2011, reflecting her deep love and strength as a mother.
Catherine was known for her creative and thoughtful spirit. She enjoyed drawing and writing and was well known for her books and poetry. She also found enjoyment in watching her favorite television programs and films, including Dancing with the Stars, Law & Order, Yellowstone, and The Ten Commandments.
In June of 1970, Catherine was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served Jehovah throughout her life. Her faith was very important to her, and she devoted herself to studying the Bible and sharing her beliefs with others.
On April 11, 2026, Catherine fell asleep in death. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was warm-hearted, strong, and giving, with a unique ability to bring laughter in many situations. To those who knew her well, she was a source of comfort, love, wisdom, and strength.
Catherine's life reflected resilience, compassion, faith, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. There is comfort in knowing that she rests in Jehovah's memory, and in the promise found in the Bible that there will be a resurrection, when she will be welcomed back to life on a peaceful earth.
Catherine was proceeded in death by her parents, three sisters (Joyce S. Williams), (Barbara Grey), and (Sumi ML Williams), two brothers, (Brian Sampson) and (Chris Sampson), and son (Carylis B. Callier II.) Catherine is survived by her daughter (Kisha Callier), half daughter (Carlethia Callier), bonus daughter, (Miesha Murphy), her brothers (Robert R.Williams), (Ulysses WH. Williams), sister (Pasty A. Williams), (Daphne E. Williams), sister n law (Laverne Williams), nieces and nephews, Onna, Phillip, Avin, Nathan, Bobby, Dominick, Wyleah, Tatiana, Lynea, and Brandon, as well as cousins and a host of friends.
