

Chieko was deeply loved by many and her zest for life was a source of inspiration for those privileged to know her. Despite the adversities life threw her way, she remained steadfast and resilient, forever the epitome of strength and fortitude.
Her birth date of February 6th, 1942, hinted at her personality, strong willed and showed kindness to the less fortunate and compassion to animals, the excitement for young people. Throughout her lifetime, Chieko nurtured these qualities into a love for her family , pets and friends.
Chieko's journey ended on October 12, 2024, marking a day of great sorrow for those she left behind. However, it is also a day to remember and appreciate the love and joy she spread throughout her lifetime. Chieko's life was not just about the time spent on Earth but more about the impact she had on the people she interacted with.
Her life and legacy will continue to inspire and motivate those who had the honor of knowing her. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit and values live on in those she left behind. May her soul rest in peace. We remember Chieko, Mom, Grandma, Chie-chan, Obasan today and always.
Chieko was preceded by her husband: Joseph C Tubilleja and her son: Kenneth Tubilleja. She is survived by her sister: Chizuko Sadoyama; niece Junko Sadoyama; her children: Karen Tubilleja, Joseph Tubilleja,William (Maggie) Tubilleja, Rita Tubilleja; grandchildren: Thomas(Esperanza), Jade, Kai, Ethan, Olivia; great grandchildren: Damonie (Wendy), Jiselle, Promise,Royal, and Arya; great great grandson: Matias and her puppy, Nezumi.
A graveside service for Chieko will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005.
