Clarence Smith Sr. passed away December 22nd, 2015 in Pahrump, Nevada. He was born on September 27th, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan. Clarence was baptized on January 26th, 1921 at St. Mark's in Detroit. On August 2nd, 1941, Clarence married Isabel M. Roe at St. Gabriel in Detroit Michigan. Shortly after, Clarence joined the Army Air Corps, serving from October 26th, 1943 to March 18th, 1946. He was awarded the American Theater Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Victory Medal. For the last 2 years, he was a Resident of Inspirations in Pahrump, Nevada. He was a 35 year resident of Pahrump, coming from El Monte, California, prior to moving from Detroit, Michigan in 1960. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Smith, and his son, Clarence Smith Jr. Surviving is his cherished companion, Priscilla Fulton, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Services will be held on December 30th, 2015. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary.
