

She was born, October 3, 1936, in Angeles City, Philippines, the daughter of late Pablo & Wenceslawa Suarez. She was the 4th of 12 siblings.
On May 16, 1957, she married Cristofero D. Lusung, who survives.
Conchita, otherwise known as Conching, was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She was a classy, loving, funny, and generous sister, in-law, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She lived a simple life of faith in Jesus and a good life with her husband of 63 years. She was always a faithful and committed member of church and loved singing in the choir. She and her husband Cris migrated to the US from the Philippines in 1982. They lived in Hayward, CA, then in Thornton, CO until they settled in San Francisco, CA. Their 449 O’Farrell St apartment was the center of many family gatherings until they retired and left for Las Vegas in 1997, where they enjoyed their church and family there for over 20 years. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by 7 siblings; Lolita Soliman of Hercules, CA; Norberto Suarez of Aurora, CO; Leticia (& Len) Taylor of Thornton, CO; Belia (& Tony) Dobles of Sacramento, CA; Nenita Suarez of Anchorage, AK; Myrna (& Lito) Eugenio of Hayward, CA; and Pablo (& Marilyn) Suarez Jr of Las Vegas, NV; and her 5 children – Carlyn (& Glen) Kato, Carolyn “Kay” (& Noel) Sugay, Cristofero “Jun” (& Josie) Lusung Jr., Caren (& Lina) Lusung, and Charina Gomez. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at the University United Methodist Church, 4412 S Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89119. She will be laid to rest at Palms Mortuary – Eastern in Las Vegas.
