Daniel Bellina, 67, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away suddenly on March 14, 2015 at home. He was born on June 17, 1947 in Niagara Fall, New York to Lucy Sicoli and was adopted by Joseph Bellina at the age of two. Dan married Judith in 1992, meshing two families together, and ultimately moving to Las Vegas in 1997. Working for 45 years in the construction industry, Dan's dream was to move to Las Vegas and work on the hotels and casinos; the Paris, the MGM, and Harrah's to name a few. Every minute touched his heart developing the camaraderie with his fellow workers and watching Las Vegas prosper. Dan's retirement, five years ago, prompted him to shine with his cooking skills - this was his forte. Anything he put his mind to, any recipe he saw, he could cook - the family meal get together with pasta and sauce or pizza was fantastic. Visiting the strip in Las Vegas was Dan's weekly desire, especially the Tropicana where we met so many remarkable musicians. He developed relationships beyond belief. Dan is survived by his beloved wife Judith; his daughter Lisa Bellina; son Daniel (Liz) Bellina; stepdaughters Jennifer Phillips (Dan) and Nicole Forness (John); and his six cherished grandchildren filled his life with overwhelming joy: Lucia and Marley Bellina, Ava and Max Phillips, and Cole and Hannah Forness.
Arrangements under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
